JJ's Fire Recovery: Your Support Matters
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We (cousin, Troy Stailey and friend Alana Hannant) are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and a request for support for JJ Genseal, a beloved family member and friend, who has experienced a heartbreaking tragedy—he recently lost his residence and all his belongings in a fire on Friday, March 14, 2025 in Meredosia, Illinois.
JJ lives on a fixed income due to disability but has always managed to make the most out of his situation. Despite his challenges, he has remained a kind and happy go lucky guy, always making people laugh with his infectious sense of humor and ability to lighten any room.
Sadly, this fire has taken away everything JJ worked so hard for, leaving him with nothing but the clothes on his back. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign with the goal of raising $2,000 to help JJ get through this as quickly and with the least amount of pain as possible. These funds will be used to cover basic living expenses, replacement of personal belongings, clothing, and any immediate needs as JJ navigates this difficult recovery process.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference and bring us one step closer to helping JJ rebuild his life after this heartbreaking loss.
We hope this fundraiser can give him the support he deserves during this incredibly tough time. Please consider donating and sharing this page with others who may want to help. Let’s show JJ just how much his people care!
Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and support.
Sincerely,
Troy Stailey & Alana Hannant
