Hello everyone, I am reaching out again hoping that the JJ strong community of friends, family and supporters can help us once again.
As many of you may recall, JJ Peterson is a junior at Strasburg High School and was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in November 2023. He was a varsity athlete, a member of the National Honor Society and a Life Guard at our town pool. The Peterson
Family is tremendously grateful for the out pouring of support since JJ’s diagnosis.
As our cancer journey moves forward, we are getting ready to have to make a transition to Children’s Hospital in Washington DC for a Bone Marrow Transplant.
The family will have to travel even further and then find and pay for temporary housing. They will still need to try and maintain and pay for their home in Strasburg Virginia, all while trying to also be there for their daughter who is about to graduate high school and head off to college in the Fall.
I honestly do not know where this family would be without the outpouring of love from those of you who have supported them this far. They appreciate anything you can do to try and make this very heavy load a little lighter. We all love you JJ ❤️❤️❤️
