Ring Dragon Martial Arts: New Dojo
Most of you guys know that I've been involved in the martial arts for most of my life. For years I've helped teach and train children and adults in the Montgomery County area and recently my family and I relocated to the Barclay neighborhood in Baltimore City. I believe this neighborhood could use some constructive, positive programs and activities and I'd like to provide that for those interested by way of martial arts training.
So far I've spent all the money I have in preparing the new dojo but the more costly elements are just out of reach. I'm asking friends and family to donate what they can in order to make this dojo a reality. Please do what you can and help me bring a positive light to lives here in Baltimore.
The dojo needs a full paint job (and I'll be using a minority owned, localy based business to get that accomplished @looksbylloydpainting ). We need the paint (obviously, lol) and the associated labor, we also need to get the mat for the floor space. There's also a few dings and holes in the current drywall as well as a few other minor area repairs that need to be taken care of. With the amount we're looking to generate through your generosity, we will have a beautiful, functional space to carry on the Hill's Hitters and Ring Dragon legacy.
For my martial arts friends and family, this will also provide a space for Open Sparring meets and training as well. It'd be great to have all of you here for the grand opening once the facility is ready to go.
