This is for my friend Tina LaHaye’s grandson …last night our son was mauled by 2 pitbull mastiefs. What I've heard so far a toy went over a neighbors fence. Dj went to climb/reach over the fence and they pulled him down. We were rushed to the ER in Pulaski and then air lifted to Nashville children's hospital. They started surgery at 1:45 am central time. So far they have had 2 surgeons operating on him. One did his head and neck. The other neck down. Now the 3rd surgeon is repairing his eye. Hopefully within 2 hrs we'll be able to see our son again. Please for the life of me if you have kids or loved ones for that matter, treat every damn moment like it could be your last. Because God only knows when it's their time. Thank you everyone that's been there for us throughout the night. Can't wait to put the past 12 hrs behind my family. This kid is stronger than I could ever be and can't wait to make a gazillion more memories with him.

Now that my son shared. This is the reason I have asked for continuous prayers. I'm heading to Tennessee today with Caryssa Rouser Thressa LaHaye please pray for my grandson #DJSTRONG

Just got a call. Vitals are all still really good. Surgeon is still working to repair the eye lid. Will call back in a hr and a half if she's still working on it for an update.

PRAYERS FOR AMBER AS WELL. SHE HAS ALSO BEEN ADMITTED. SHE WAS BIT IN TIGHT FOREARM TO THE BONE TO SAFE DJ. THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT NERVE DAMAGE AND DEEP TISSUE SWELLING. SHE'S IN A LOT PAIN ALSO. AWESOME MAMA BEAR. DOUGLAS WAS ALSO BIT. NOTHING LIKE AMBER OR DJ
