UPDATE ON DANIKA, formerly known as Mandy:
This sweet, beautiful girl is in so much pain. Her right rear leg is shattered and must be amputated... but not until at least 6wks after her babies are born and weaned. The damage is so extreme that most likely she will need a caesarean section - and she is due any time. This poor girl cannot even walk. Here she is being weighed, while still on the stretcher... this is the only way we are able to move her. There are at least 10-12 puppies and because she is anemic and emaciated, the puppies will need supplemental bottle feedings. For her caesarean, spay and amputation alone we need $5000. Please help us help darling Danika.
