Lola Gil, a 44-year-old single mother, was recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer with lymphatic involvement. Lola is a beloved sister to us and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She’s always been willing to go the extra mile for others. The doctors at each of her visits have advised her to undergo chemotherapy until December of 2019 along with critical surgeries which are due to come up with the next few months. Chemotherapy is a taxing process that takes a tremendous toll on the human body which renders the patient practically exhausted. Those familiar with family or loved ones who have undergone a similar issue can attest. For this very reason, it has prevented her from working both of her jobs and in turn placed a financial burden that we hope to remedy. The doctors she’s visited have requested her to take a step back from working to allow her body to recover. Despite her best efforts, she was recently let go from her last employer and currently remains unemployed. Our hope is to generate support through prayer and donation to help her and her children during this arduous time.
We understand the everyday struggle and burden that life may bear but we hope that you can find something to aid us during this challenge. We remain hopeful that she will survive but most importantly take one less worry off of her plate. The financial support would go strictly to medical bills and supporting her children with basic necessities. We will continue to pray and remain optimistic but hope that any donation you can contribute be returned to you tenfold.
