My brother, Brett Megerell was involved in a serious accident last night. He was rushed to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Utica, NY.  He is all banged up with bruises and cuts all over his body as well as a huge laceration in his left calf muscle that may be from the clutch or brake from impact, which required surgery and they had to put staples in it.  He also dislocated his right hip, the Doctor’s put it back into place last night, however they may have to do surgery again on his hip due to fragments being around the hip still. The Doctor’s still don’t know yet, he is in a lot of pain.  His truck is totaled, he is extremely lucky to be alive and we thank God and the guardian angels that were watching over him.  He had a metal tool chest on the back of the truck bed that opened up as a shield and we believe that’s what stopped all of his equipment from entering the back window and even hurting him more.  All of his equipment was thrown everywhere.  He lost his phone and we cannot find it at this time, if anyone or his clients are trying to contact him, we are working on getting him a new phone.  Brett works for himself and helps out anyone and everyone, not to mention the hardest worker I know.  Brett lights up every room he walks into with his amazing personality, and we are extremely blessed that Brett is still alive and breathing.  We’re asking that you please help him in anyway you can, as he is going to have a lot of medical bills, physical therapy appointments, other doctor appointments, regular bills, he needs to replace his equipment, his truck, and will also need time to heal.  I will pass along every message to him, he needs all of our support and help. It’s going to be a long road but he’s a warrior, and he needs all of his warriors to help him out in his time of need!
