To everyone that may not have heard, my brother JJ Gallegos passed away on Monday September 17, 2018. We would like to invite all of his family and friends to join us on Monday September 24, 2018 for a rosary and his funeral services will be on Tuesday September 25, 2018 to celebrate his life and say goodbye. Both will be in Laramie, Wyoming at St Laurence O'Toole church. JJ was a huge sports fan and especially loved the Denver Broncos. We invite everyone to have their Broncos shirts and wear them to both services to show our support for him and his favorite team.
JJ had been taking time off work because he was suffering from plaque psoriasis and couldn't do his other love of cooking. As many ofyou know his mother has had several strokes and he and his father have been caring for her and have been living off a limited income and both have caused a financial burden for our family. Many of you have reached out and asked what you could do to help, if you would like to make a donation to help his family with his high funeral costs it would be greatly appreciated. We would all like to thank you for your love and support and want everyone to know that JJ loved all his family and friends and had a very caring heart for all of you. He will be missed and will always be with us in memory and spirit.
Thank you from the Gallegos family. We would love to hear your favorite memories, stories, and see any pictures you would like to share.
To Those I Love and Those Who Love Me
When I am gone, release me, and let me go.
I have so much to see and do.
You must not tie yourself to me with tears.
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you cannot guess
How much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown.
But now it’s time I traveled on alone.
So grieve awhile for me, if grieve you must.
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It’s only for awhile that we must part.
So bless the memories in your heart.
I won’t be far away for life goes on;
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can’t see me, I’ll be there.
And if you listen with your heart you’ll hear
All my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone.
I’ll greet you with a smile, and “Welcome Home”.
