My name is Kimba, and I am raising funds for dear family friends following the sudden and unexpected passing last week of their 13 year old son Jordan, known to all as JJ.

Diagnosed with epilepsy at 8, JJ didn't let this stop him from becoming a talented basketballer and family legacy in the sport.

He will be remembered for his compassionate nature, humour, warmth and charm... mixed with a little bit of cheekiness. His smile would light up a room.

Funds will go towards funeral costs, with any remainder being used to help with support and services for the family as they struggle to come to terms with this unimaginable loss.

JJ is survived by his parents, Ryan and Tegan, and two younger sisters, Olivia and Poppy. Along with uncles, aunties, extended family, the family you choose, his school, Modbury High, basketball club, North Adelaide Rockets and wider community.

A donation of any amount, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated by myself and JJ's family. Given his presence in the basketball and wider community, a large attendance is expected by those wishing to pass on their respects and support and remember the teenager, taken too soon.
