Hi my name is Jiwon Kim and I have been running my vintage/streetwear clothing and sneaker business for around four years now. I started my business in my parents' garage one summer and I have been expanding spaces every year. This year marked my biggest location and gave me room to store and showcase a lot more of my inventory and all the hard work I've put into building up my collection.

In the past two years, I got to provide jobs for three of my closest friends, Josh, Larry, and Tyson. Without my team, I wouldn't be in the place I am in right now.

Unfortunately, two nights ago, eight people broke into my store and stole 245 pairs of shoes and many supreme, bape, off white pieces as well as Louis Vuitton bags, Murakami skateboard decks, and artwork. These items added up to a value of over $100,000. There are probably a lot more that I am missing but they targeted the most expensive and coveted items. I usually don't ask for help in situations where I take a loss, but this time around the loss was major. The insurance coverage I had only covered liability to third parties and there was no potential for coverage for all the inventory that was stolen.

I need funds to rebuild the inventory I had and install major security systems to protect my store. If you can share this on your story and help donate, I will use the funds to rebuild the shop, buy supplies that were damaged, pay for rent this month, provide for all my employees and prevent any other break-ins from happening.
