Jivin' for Jaxon Round 2

Donation protected
Jaxon Broom is the first born child of Kristi (a Yorkville Middle School Special Education Teacher) and Raymond Broom of Yorkville. Jaxon was born at 24 weeks on April 14, 2013. He spent the first three years of his life hospitalized until he was finally released to come home in May of 2016.

While Jaxon has made great strides since coming home, he continues to suffer from Bronchopulumonary Dysplasia, Tracheobronchial Malacia, and Pulmonary Hypertension and requires round the clock nursing care. Unfortunately, the family has recently lost all nursing care forcing Ray to leave his job to provide full-time, unpaid care for his son. Not only has this change forced the family into a one-income household but they have had to relocate to cut down on cost of living expenses and medical bills are continuing to mount.

Jaxon is truly a miracle and has overcome unbelieveable odds. Our wish is to support Jaxon and other families who have experienced triumphant hardships, who have endured enormous obstacles and have defied the odds. The Broom family has sacrificed so much to provide Jaxon with the best possible care. It is our hope that you will open your hearts and support this wonderful family.
