Jiu-Jitsu: A Path to Hope for Kids
Donation protected
Jiu-Jitsu for good is a social project in that utilizes sport to improve kids lives in poor communities in Brazil. The project was born 9 years ago when the black belt and professor Max Lourenço had the idea of helping kids through Jiu Jitsu. Max created a gym for poor kids to train and learn a new skill that might give them the opportunity for a better future. He built many champions and, best of all, gave many kids the opportunity to compete, work and live all over the world! To maintain the project running, a few people have been contributing privately to the project, but we want to do more for the kids and not just the basics. We need to provide lunch for the kids, buy uniforms, replace mats, sign them up for tournaments, pay instructors and teach them English. Therefore we are trying to gather more help and recruit more people to this chain for good. Help us make a better world for these kids!
