Jinx the kittens Recovery

Hello there, my name is Eva and I am fundraising for my 1 year old adventure kitten named Jinx.

On October 30th Jinx ended up in a pretty horrific accident involving a vehicle. She ended up in hospital with all four paws damaged, her right side paws got the worst of the damage, and her claws were completely gone, she had to be sedated the first night and hooked up to IV medications for 3 days.

Vet hospitals are very expensive for these sorts of things so when we were told that it costed around $1300 (or $1500?) every 24hrs, I asked after the second night if it was okay to take her home because there was no way I could swing another night for that much money. I want the best for her, shes my baby, she family, I just didnt know what to do at this point. The Veterinary hospital offered to cap me off at 2500 if I left her there for the third night which they strongly recommended, which was extremely generous and helpful. I was able to use up my savings and borrow credit from family to pay the hospital, and I finally took Jinx home.

I set up appointments with my local Vet to oversee her care, bandage changes, medications and so forth.

Due to the overwhelming stress, making sure she was safe, that she was as comfortable as I could make her and having to give her medications every 6, 8, 12, or 24hrs (2am, 4am, 10am, 12pm, 6pm, 8pm, 10pm) I was unable to work for almost 3 weeks.

Now because Jinx ended up loosing her claws, it's a waiting game to see if they grow back. There is the possibility of needing surgery to help them through the skin properly, which will then cost more.

I'm at a loss, I heard of his platform and thought I'd give it a shot to help me out of this empty money pit that I've fallen into. At this point the Bill's are at $2980.12 and bound to go up.
