Jim's Tour De 4 Fundraiser for Prostate Scotland

I have signed up to participate in the Chris Hoy Tour De 4 charity cycle on 7th September 2025. I have decided to do the 90km cycle and try and raise some money for Prostate Scotland and every donation no matter the amount will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

As some of you are aware I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2023 and I am fortunate that at the moment I am under "active surveillance" which just means regular blood tests to monitor my PSA levels, however I know a number of men who are not as fortunate as me and are having to undergo radiotherapy or surgery.

Prostate Scotland is a Scottish charity set up to provide information, advice and help on prostate health and diseases test and treatments. Nearly 1 in 2 men in Scotland will be affected by prostate disease at some stage of their lives and 1 in 10 are likely to develop prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in Scotland. Prostate Scotland's mission is to ‘inform, educate, support, campaign and advance on prostate disease in Scotland’.
