Jim's Journey with MDS

Good evening everyone! I just wanted to give an update on Jim's journey. As the transplant gets closer, he will be going through some testing to make sure everything is a go before May 15th. He will be traveling down to Charlottesville for a few days worth of testing from April 23rd through April 25th. With all the unknowns at the moment, traveling and finding a place to stay for 2 months following his transplant during recovery in Charlottesville has been stressful on the family to say the least. We also just found out today that his insurance does not cover travel and lodging, which we had once believed it did. So in the meantime we have set up a G Fund Me that will go towards Jim's medical & travel/lodging expenses.
