Jim's End of Life Care
Donation protected
As many of you know, and some that may not, Jim Liscomb was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer back in December 2022. At the beginning of Jim’s diagnosis there were so many unknowns. Since his diagnosis, his cancer has metastasized to his Liver. He was able to quickly begin treatment by doing Chemotherapy; there was improvement for a while during this time. He was able to return to work and be in the comfort of his home and enjoying doing the things he enjoyed most (to the best he was able). As we all know, just because there is improvement, it does not mean that the Cancer has disappeared. Jim’s children have been extremely thankful for this time that they have had with their dad, since his diagnosis.
Jim was, unfortunately, hospitalized again recently, due to new symptoms and the growth of a mass/tumor. It was told that he has reached End Stage Cancer. Jim’s children were given the horrible and heartbreaking news that they only have about 2 months left with their dad.
All everyone wants is for Jim to be able to spend his final months and days with his kids, grandchildren, and family; being able to do the things they love most and being able to spend as much time together as a possible.
Jim’s kids and family are reaching out in their time of need to ask for any help that anyone is able to give during this time. There is a lot of stress surrounding the medical bills and financial obligations for their Father’s End of Life Care. Donations will go directly into a fund to be used specifically for the upcoming bills in the next couple of months, any unpaid medical bills that have accrued, and anything afterwards will be saved for services when the time comes.
Jim and his family are extremely thankful for the support that they have reached thus far. All of the texts, calls, prayers, and kind words have helped keep them strong during this tough time. And there are no words that could even try to explain and show how truly grateful they all are.
