Hi, I’m Jim’s wife, Candice and we have 2 children together and 7 total, Casey, Maryna, Drew, Hunter, JJ, Austin and Willow. We recently discovered that he has cancer for the 3rd time in his life. Leukemia at 3 years old and Hodgkins when he was 14. He beat those like a boss! Sadly he won’t beat this but we need him here with us as long as possible and need family, friends and anyone else to help make that possible. We’ve not had much good luck for the past couple years regarding health and just closed our business down due to him not feeling well. My son, Austin had a non-cancerous brain tumor that had to be removed in 2020. Jim tried to get a job before we got the diagnosis and I got a job. He worked for a month and became very ill. He was having swelling and pain in his upper stomach area and problems breathing. It was suggested to get a colonoscopy and the dr noticed right away it was colon cancer and it metastasised to his liver, he also had a CT that revealed numerous masses on his liver, we had to wait for the biopsy results to move forward. His breathing problems were due to the masses on his liver pushing on his diaphragm. Scheduled appointment with oncologist and he told us it’s likely due to his past chemo treatments. What? Something to save his life is now affecting him negatively? Then those words that will haunt me forever, “we can’t cure him this time, just prolong his life.” How do I tell my 5 and 7 year old this? How do I do this life thing without him? So many things going through my mind. I’m heartbroken over this. I need some help to give my children’s daddy as comfortable a life and as long as possible and I need your help. We appreciate any amount. Currently our only income is my part time job and it’s hard on everyone because I work at night. We have our regular monthly bills. He has health insurance but as you know, they don’t cover everything and gas is outrageous. His medication is not covered so it’ll be out of pocket. Babysitters aren’t free. Thank you everyone for your help and if you can’t donate, please pray for Jim.
