Jimmy Smith was a unique individual.  He was never at a loss for words and he never met a stranger.  He was an amazing son, husband, father, coach, mentor & friend.  His wife and his boys were his everything.  Jimmy was heavily involved in both of his boy's activities and just wanted them to be the best they could be.  Whether he was at the ballpark or the gym, Jimmy was the loudest and the proudest.  He made his rounds at the ballpark where he never missed a game cheering for every single player "you got this, kid".  He loved the game and even more, loved his son playing it.  He went above and beyond to help anyone, whether they were a stranger or a friend.  He made sure his sons' friends knew that they had someone they could count on if they ever were in trouble, needed help, or just needed advice.  He loved all of the boys and they loved him.  Jimmy Smith was a bright shining light who will truly be missed by all that knew him.
