Hi my name is Marie,

On the 11'th of October this year, I was out for a ride in the woods behind Linford enclosure New forrest, when a dog worked himself loose from the dog walker and chased my horse Jimmy. Unfortunately Jimmy panicked and bolted out of control into the woods.The dog continued to chase Jimmy, I stayed on as long as I could trying to calm him down unsuccessfully as I got knocked off by a brach and smashed into the base of a Holly tree. As a result I was seriously injured and rushed to hospital. Meanwhile Jimmy ran out of sight. Jimmy ran for about half an hour up the top of red shoot hill and fortunately passers by alerted local police and forest Agister until a friend recognised him and took him back to his yard. Thankfully our beautiful family pony was not physically harmed but it has left him needing help psychologically.

I was in fairly bad shape as I had sustained a ruptured spleen that required removal, two broken ribs, dislocated elbow, broken ulna that required surgery and plating. Due to the extent of my injuries I have been unable to care for Jimmy as he has been traumatised by the horrific experience and have called on a professional horse behaviourist to work with him every week to ensure he is happy and safe to ride. My income is dependent on my work as a self employed personal trainer but currently due to my long recovery period I am not at full earning capacity making it difficult to pay for Jimmy's treatments.

Currently the added costs of treatment and rehabilitation are 142.40 pr week and this go fund me is to help me pay that until I have recovered enough to be able to care for him by myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jimmy is a much loved pony!
