Jimmy’s Emergency ICU & Recovery Fund

Jimmy is a loving father to two grown children and has spent his life in various roles serving others and caring for his family. He recently moved to rural Alaska and has been working in a job where he traveled to many small isolated village schools to create safety and emergency plans for the children, something that has never been in place for these isolated community’s. Since being in Alaska he also met Kim, the love of his life, and they were married on February 4th, 2023.

 Unfortunately, while Jimmy was returning from one of his village visits he experienced a dangerous fall at the airport on March 24th and suffered many traumatic injuries. He has required a breathing tube and has been in the ICU in Anchorage ever since the accident with Kim by his side. Jimmy is facing a long recovery and will require multiple surgeries and extensive rehabilitation and therapy once he is stable enough to be discharged from the ICU. Along with the medical expenses that are growing, the newlyweds have the added burden of the high cost of travel, lodging and transportation in Alaska. We would like to help our friends through this difficult time and take some of the financial burden off of Jimmy and Kim’s plate so they can focus on recovery and healing as much as they are able.
