Jimmy – Taken Too Soon, Forever in Our Hearts
Donation protected
I’m organising this on behalf of the Pirates U14s Rugby Union team and the Pirates Rugby Union Club, in support of the Webster family.
Like so many, I am still in shock and struggling to find the right words. Our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences are with Hollie, Tim, Ellie, and all of Jimmy’s family and friends as they face this unimaginable loss.
On Sunday 17th August, Jimmy’s life was tragically lost in an accident that has left our community heartbroken. His passing has touched not only those of us locally, but also the wider rugby union family.
Jimmy has been part of the rugby community since his U8 days, a cheeky, funny, witty, and loyal teammate who brought joy both on and off the field. His family has always been a pillar of support for grassroots rugby, playing a vital role in keeping the Tamworth Tri Colours alive during some of its toughest times, when the club was on the verge of folding. They were always the first to lend a hand, whether through time, effort, or financial support, never expecting anything in return. This is just one example of their generosity and the kind of people they are. I know they are also heavily involved in the campdraft world, and I can only imagine they have had the same positive impact there as they have had here.
The Webster's are not the type to ask for help, but in times of deep grief and heartbreak, it is our turn as a community to rally around them. Together, we can ease the burdens they now face and show them the same love and generosity they have always shown others.
We are raising funds to help with funeral expenses, horse vet bills, and any other unexpected costs during this painful time.
Taken far too soon, but forever in our hearts.
With love and support, from Pirates Rugby Union U14s team.
