The Jimmy Porter Memorial Scholarship/Grant is a way for the Jaguars to keep alive the memory of Jimmy Porter, a 15-year-old Midget player who passed away in August 2012. All proceeds are donated to the Joliet Jaguar Youth Hockey Organization for the purpose of financial assistance with hockey fees for deserving players and families.
Jimmy's jersey number, 16, has been retired by the Jaguar Hockey Club and has been honored annually for 5 straight years additionally with the "Jimmy Porter Memorial Hockey Game. Please help us to continue to honor Jimmy, his team and the sport he loved so much with your contribution.
All contributors will be entered to win cash/prizes in our drawings at the 2017 Jumbo Run Fundraiser to be held August 5th, 2017 at Horns & Halos in Channahon IL.
