Honoring Jimmy "Fry Guy Extraordinaire" Stissi

Jimmy Stissi, our Fry Guy Extraordinaire, was larger than life, and the heart of our Dairy Queen. His passing has left a huge void in so many ways....but I swear, you can still feel his spirit watching over us all.

We want to give Jimmy the send-off he deserves and are asking for your help.

All proceeds will be used to cover Jimmy's final expenses. Any excess will be used to fund a memorial bench at DQ and create an annual award in his name to ensure that his legacy lives on and he is never forgotten.

Jimmy was so much to so many. To our customers, he was the guy who made sure their food was fresh, hot, perfect, and served with a giant smile. I never knew anyone who had more pride in his work than Jimmy.

To our DQ Family he was all that and so much more. Jimmy was a father figure to some, always ready with words of wisdom, support and big giant hugs. He was a crazy uncle - a loud, close talker with funny stories, a bellowing laugh and a heart of gold. He was a confidant- that man was trusted with all the secrets and knew all the stories!

His mantra - 20 times a day - was "God is Good". He was at peace and filled with gratitude for his simple life. He had a place to lie his head at night, a car to bring him back and forth to work, a Playstation 5 to connect with friends, a sister and a girlfriend he treasured, a job he loved, and a team that adored him. Life was good and he appreciated every moment of it.
