The Noyes family has touched so many lives already in our community. It is our time to help touch their lives in a little way !! This family is not only very special to my children and I, but they are very special to everyone in our community!!! Mrs Noyes is our rock at Delisle Elementary and I am also very blessed to be able to call her my friend !! Jimmy Noyes is a legend on the track!!! Jimmy Noyes was just diagnosed with Stage 4 Mantle Cell lymphoma.

Results from PET scan and bone marrow biopsy…..

Confirmed Stage 4 Mantle cell lymphoma throughout his body and all in his bones.

Unfortunately, he contains a TP53 mutation in his bones that is very aggressive.

It typically does not respond to chemo but they will chemo him fast and HARD along with a stem cell transplant. Hopefully it takes, but if not, they will have to move to another form of treatment to at least control it. It’s not curable, only treatable to manage it. It will return later down the road so he will always have to be tested to catch it early….. but first we pray we can get rid of it as much as possible.

The port was ordered to be put in last week!!!! But apparently there is a hold up in that unit so several patients have had their chemo on hold because they can’t get a port. That is very frustrating because they wanted to start chemo tomorrow and now he can’t!

They just called to schedule the port to be put in on September 11th. That’s the earliest they can get him in. Chemo will start quickly after that!
