Jimmy and Alicia’s Battle Against Brain Cancer.

As most of you know, Jimmy has been battling glioblastoma (brain cancer) since 2018. It has been a long and trying battle. Jimmy has had three surgery’s, radiation, three types of chemo treatment, many rehab therapy sessions and many holistic approaches in attempt to keep the tumour at bay. Alicia has been by Jimmy’s side for the last three years, two of which, she took a leave from work to aide him in his recovery and rehab, along with working on her own mental health. They finally got to a point where they were both comfortable with Alicia returning to work. 4 months ago Alicia returned to the workforce.

This month Alicia and Jimmy found out that the tumour is growing again. Jimmy, with Alicia by his side must endure another brain surgery in Halifax scheduled for September 21. This requires Alicia to take some time from work again which luckily she is working for a fabulous, supportive organization.

Alicia and Jimmy have never reached out or allowed for help financially through all of this but they have agreed to let us help them this time. With the many trips to Halifax and Sydney they have in the coming days bills will build quickly.

Alicia has ran and participated in many fundraising efforts for many people, over the years and I really want to return the love and support.
