On May 10th, Mother's day, Jimmie was at a cookout at his daughters house when he suffered a stroke. Quick thinking of his future daughter in law administering 2 aspirins and calling 911 resulted in his airlifting to UMD. Within an hour from his stroke he was in surgery to remove the clot. The neurologist said 1 in 5 survive this stroke...Jimmie is 1! Now that he as been discharged home he is receiving speech therapy 2 times a week and his wife is working with him on his coordination and balance. He was and is the sole provider for this family and now unable to work, times are tougher than expected. Doctors have said he needs 3 months of NOTHING! to remedy his brain  and then re-evaluate for Aneurysm....behind his left eye.  Family agrees he will most likely not be able to return to work.

Your prayers, donations, sharing of this story are imperative to his recovery. Please share, please pray, please donate if you can.
