"On July 2nd, 2025, Jimmie McClain transitioned from this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a man who never met a stranger. Jimmie had a big voice, and a deep love for God and family that shaped everything he did. Whether he was sharing a story, offering a prayer, or making you laugh until you cried, his presence filled every room.
Jimmie is survived by his wife, Regina McClain, three beloved children, and a beautiful legacy of grandchildren he so proudly adored.
Jimmie was born in Greenville, Alabama, and lived a full life that took him from Niagara Falls to Rochester, New York—where he met his wife Regina while they both worked at Eastman Kodak. They married in 2003 and began a new chapter together in Atlanta the following year. After retiring from Tosca in Newnan GA, he enjoyed spending more time with family and continuing to be a voice of encouragement and strength to everyone around him until the very end.
He will be greatly missed and today we celebrate his life and legacy." - Kanisha Jones
