The go fund me account you are visiting today was put together by the Bridgewater State University Baseball Alumni.  We have gotten together in hopes of raising money for Jimmy Martorana, who played second base for the Bears in 1995 and 1996.  Jimmy grew up in Medford and now lives in Windham NH  with his wife and 2 kids.  Jimmy was diagniosed with stage 4 stomach cancer and was recently operated on at Mass General, in hopes of removing the cancerous mass.  Currently he is in the beginning stages of a lengthy recovery, which obviously will cause him to miss work and other events with his family .  Let's all pitch in to help Jim and his family while he is on the mend.  Also we are planning a date to all get together, when Jimmy's recovery is complete.        Thanks for visiting!
