Helping Syrian Refugee Crisis
Hi, it's Jim Keady, the Director of Educating for Justice.
As I have been reporting for a few days now, things here on the front lines of the refugee crisis in Lesvos are challenging, but hopeful. There are amazing individuals and organizations who are showing the refugee people the best of humanity. They are welcoming them, clothing them, feeding them and giving them shelter.
But, they need help. Some supplies are low at the first responder camps (ex. socks and shoes). To address this immediate need, I am asking you to give as much as you can in the next few days. Prior to my departure on December 12th, I will work with the volunteers here to buy as much in the way of clothing that we can from local merchants to restock the shelves.
I am confident in the generosity of my friends and fellow Americans and I thank you in advance for your support.
Please share this with as many people as you can.
Peace, Jim Keady
