Jimbo...where to begin.
Every word will be an understatement, so much to so many. From his friends, old and new, a son, dad, husband, teacher. Whatever your connection, he was a mountain of a person. Each moment with him was a gift. The moments he gave all of us is where he is now. Some of the dearest memories in all our lives have Jimbo in them, they always will.
Grief comes from love, to sit with it and allow it shows respect.
...
Gift it for Jimbo
As the trail ahead is going to be bumpy to say the least, many of us are feeling the weight of grief and absence. But maybe—just maybe—over time something beautiful can grow in that space, to sit alongside the grief. Something that keeps Jimbo’s spirit alive and peddling forward.
Jim loved many things. But above all, he believed in people. He believed in kindness, in giving without question, in seeing the potential in every single child.
And he lived for bikes.
Not just the ride, but what bikes meant—freedom, joy, independence, challenge, getting back up again-to persevere.
So here’s a thought: a GoFundMe in his name.
Let’s create a fund, powered by those who loved Jim, to quietly and lovingly gift bikes to kids who might not otherwise get the chance. For families going through hard times. For children who just need a bit of light. A bike, given with love, from Jimbo.
Knowing that his legacy—his passion, his huge heart, his belief in people—is still out there, quietly peddling up (or better still) down a hill. Well, that might help us all breathe a little easier. That's my Jimbo.
Let’s gift it, for Jimbo.
With love. Always.
On behalf of Val.

If you ever know of a family that needs a bit of help from Jimbo to buy a child's bike, please reach out to us here, Val or any of Jimbo's friends and family.
100% of all donations will always go to giving kids bikes.
Jim will be cremated at 10h30 in Bonneville, France on Monday May 19th.
