Hi Family & Friends,
With sadness and peace in our hearts, Jim Ackley has gone home with Jesus in Heaven on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 2 a.m. We love and miss him dearly!
Jim is survived by his wife, Veronica Ackley, 3 kids, 3 grandkids, 2 brothers, 2 nieces, his Mother and many relatives and close friends. Jim was a God fearing man, and loved God and his family purposefully and passionately.
Back in 2013, Jim was diagnosed with throat cancer...this was his second aggresive battle with this nasty illness. Also, three years ago, Jim battled through a flesh eating infection that resulted in multiple surgeries where he had most of his neck and shoulder muscles removed. Jim and our family fought together relentlessly for Jim's healing. No matter what, our faith is not shaken; it's only stronger because we KNOW God is still good and still working a supernatural miracle in the lives of everyone touched by Jim.
Jims diagnoses kept him & his wife from being able to work for almost a year. Jim required 24/7 medical attention and his wife was by his side 100% as his faithful caregiver. Numerous bills and debt have piled up and have been a difficult challenge.
Friends, family, colleagues, and other supporters are invited to help Jim's family with monetary donations to lift some of the hardship. The funds would be used to pay debts, cover medical expenses, funeral costs, fix our families SUV, and help cushion reoccurring monthly living expenses for his wife.
No gift is too small!
Jim is now in Heaven finally celebrating his valiant victory over cancer with Jesus himself! He is in pain no more! AMEN!
We encourage you to share this page with your friends to increase potential for financial support and prayer.
Jim's memorial is set for Monday, November 30, 2015, 3 p.m. in Bremerton, Wa.
THANK YOU for your love, your donations and for sharing this story. We are so grateful for you!
Blessings,
Jim Ackley's Family
