Jim's Accident
Donation protected

On Friday, July 10th he was in an accident at work, a very small business that my father owns. They are self employed, my Dad and brother are the only two employees. A wooden trestle ended up falling on him, my brother and father estimate the weight to be around 1,200 lbs. It fell into his face, cut him so deep you could see his skull. The nurses said they lost count of how many stitches they gave him.
He fractured his neck, broke his chest, cut the back of his head, broke 3 vertebrae in his spine and the beam was basically crushing him and his spine causing fluid and blood to fill in his spinal cord.
My brother, Bobby was there and somehow mustered up all his inhuman strength to MOVE the 1,200 lb beam that was on my father.
After that, the only thing my family can say is by the grace of God, Jim got up, put his arm around my brothers shoulder and WALKED to the parking lot. With a broken back my father walked and he said that it was "God who was carrying him".
My family is proud, they will be upset I started this fundraiser. But, we need help. This stay is unexpected and my sweet Dad should be focused on recovery, but I've heard him say quite a few times now he is nervous about the cost this will come to.
If you have taken the time to read all my words, thank you. A prayer for Jim will go just as long of a way as any donation. God bless you all ❤
