Let's STAND STRONG with Jim as he fights this battle. The Wag-Niters Car Club is hosting a day to celebrate Jim and show him how much we appreciate his friendship and community support.
Backstory: Our dear friend, Jim Wagner has been "butting heads" with cancer for over a year now. We would like to take a day to celebrate Jim for all he has done for others in our community! From feeding the families and staff at the Children's Hospital on holidays, serving meals to military families before they deploy, supporting the Lions Club, his Church - Zion Lutheran, the city of Brooklyn Park and their Fire Department, Can-Do Canines, and far too many others to list - he is always giving to others.
Thru multiple surgeries, chemo, radiation, and TONS of doctor appointments, Jim has hardly missed a day at the Drive In. He is STRONG and DETERMINED to fight this.
With the support of his staff, the restaurant continues to stay open, but he has not been able to do much of his booming catering business or stay open on Sundays. This has accounting for over 40% loss of business. As we approach the slow season for his restaurant, his friends in the Wag-Niters Car Club ask that you show him how much we appreciate his friendship and his community service to others.
