Jim Van Dam: Long Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Unfortunately, Jim was involved in a traumatic accident Thursday night and is lucky to be alive.  It took the paramedics 80 minutes to extricate him from the vehicle and he was life lighted to Ogden where he underwent a 6 hour surgery to piece his broken bones back together.

Luckily, he did not have any major head trauma or internal bleeding and his organs all survived well.  His left side of his body seems to have received most of the damage.  He has a broken nose, a couple of fractured bones in his neck, his left arm (yes, he's left handed) is in 4 pieces, his left leg is broken in multiple places (he busted his femur which caused major complications for his knee).

We know the family is going to be facing many of life's expenses on their own as Jim is the breadwinner for the family and we would like to help them out through this journey of rehab and healing.  If any of you know Jim, you know he's the person that would give his shirt off his back to complete strangers.  He's rescued many a people from the side of the road when it's been inconvenient for him.  You also know he's one of the hardest working people I know.  He's always worked his tail off all his life in order to provide for his family and many others.

We are incredibly grateful that he is alive and in good spirits.  We are ever grateful for any donation you could make in helping this wonderful family on this road to recovery.
