A few days ago my dad suffered a cardiac event in Cabo San Lucas that landed him in the emergency room.

After a failed procedure to insert stents, because of excessive damage to his arteries, he must undergo emergency bypass surgery.

Unfortunately, his insurance isn't going to cover the procedure or the extra days of monitoring in the intensive care unit.

My father didn't want to burden anyone with the weight of his medical procedure but I convinced him that there's a community around him that cares for him and is willing to help.
