The family of Jim Smith created this fundraiser.
Jim Smith, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, suffered from a stroke on June 3rd at 10:30PM. Following the stroke Jim has had a long road of recovery, including many forms of therapy to restore his balance and completely re-learn speech. Jim has been full of love, laughter and gratefulness since his stroke. Jim returned to work eager to have some remain of normalcy, then shortly after on July 15th at 2:30PM, Jim suffered from a seizure. Since the seizure, Jim can not work, drive, or be completely independent.
Those who know Jim Smith would describe him as intelligent, hard-working, driven, and a loving provider. He has always enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as being around family and friends. Jim is the type of person you call when you’re in trouble because he will be there to help you in a blink of an eye. His first thought is always “I’ll be there to help,” without a second thought of what he will get in return. Jim loves giving, helping, and simply just being a shoulder to lean on for those around him. This stroke has effected his very ability to do the simple things he prides himself of.
We know these emergency medical bills will be significant, so will the prescriptions, check-ups, and other out-of-pocket expenses. This fundraiser was created to raise funds in an effort to ease these bills and expenses. We want to support Jim and his family financially and emotionally on his road to recovery. We continue to ask for love, support and prayers through these tough times. God has already given us a miracle within Jim, but we pray for his grace and blessings to continue coming through recovery. We appreciate any help you can provide.
