Jim Shanor, a light to so many people in this world, has unexpectedly passed away on January 25, 2018. Jim’s love for humankind, fierce advocacy for what he believed was right and kind, and his warm light truly made an impact on all of our lives.
We know that many of you all over the world have been influenced, helped, or entertained by knowing Jim Shanor. His great joy in his later life was to bring another son into the world. PJ was the light of his life, and he would have sacrificed anything and everything for his benefit. You have a chance to help keep that dream going. His daughter Delly has helped raise PJ since he was born, She has a young son, too, and the boys are like brothers. They both live with Delly and her husband David, in California.
It would be overwhelming for Jim’s widow Irene to continue to provide PJ with this situation now that Jim is gone. Please consider (in lieu of flowers) contributing to cover funeral expenses and help with the cost of PJ’s school and living expenses in California.
We are grateful for any help you feel to give.
