Jim & Sandy Swett

Hi, my name is Rachael Swett and I along with my brothers Carl & Jacob, am 

fundraising for my dad & mom, Jim & Sandy Swett.

On January 16th, our family and friends got our world turned upside down. My mom & dad found out that my dad, Jim Swett, has lung cancer that has 

metastasized to his brain. He got flown from Alamosa, CO to Colorado Springs, CO to Penrose St. Francis Hospital for emergency surgery on his brain. The surgery ended up happening on Friday, January 20, 2023 to remove the tumor in his brain. He will now begin Radiation on his brain and then treatment for his lung soon after.   

This will put a huge financial burden on my parents as my dad is an Owner/operator of Swett Constructors and will not be able to do physical labor for some time. Treatments & appointments-are 3 hours away, multiple times a week. Any help would be greatly appreciated to help with household bills, travel expenses and any occurred medical costs.
