Jim has been opening his home and heart to foster cats for nearly a year, giving countless strays a second chance at life.

Now, he’s taking on a brand-new challenge — the 2025 Cyprus Marathon on March 8th, 2026! It’s been a long time since Jim last ran, but he’s lacing up his trainers again for a cause that means the world to him.

Every mile he runs will help raise vital funds for South Yorkshire Street Cats, supporting their rescue, care, and rehoming of vulnerable felines. It’s a huge personal test — but one Jim is ready to face to make life better for the cats who need it most.

Every pound raised will make a real difference for South Yorkshire’s street cats providing food, warmth, and vital veterinary care for those in need.

It will help fund neutering to prevent more unwanted litters, support foster carers with supplies, and give rescued cats the second chance they deserve.

Together, we can turn every mile Jim runs into hope for a better life for these
