Hi everyone. As some of you are aware Jim lost his battle with mental illness during an encounter with a county deputy on Thursday, March 2, 2023. He struggled from his teen years with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and for years was able to take his medication and control his disease. Recently he decided that his medication was no longer needed and he spiraled. Jim was a God fearing, jovial, giant of a man who loved his son, Caleb, and his late daughter, Franchesca, with all his heart. His loved his three beautiful granddaughters, his mom who suffers from Alzheimer’s and all of his family. We are all grieving this horrible and unexpected death. We were caught off guard as we were diligently working to get Jim help. We were working with the sheriff’s department to apprehend him and give him the treatment he so needed. The violent end to his life is something we feel is so surreal.

We are asking those that feel so inclined to please help Caleb and the family with funeral expenses. Caleb needs our prayers to deal with all he is dealing with at this time. If you find it in your heart, please donate so that this won’t overwhelm him as he dealing with so much.

Reach out to those you know suffering from mental illness. Don’t let them become a statistic or be in a situation where an officer is ending your loved one’s life. Mental illness should be a treatable condition and not a death sentence.

We thank you and appreciate each and everyone of you. Thank you for taking the time to read and please share.
