Jim Paul’s Journey

Hi all, my name is Shelby Aquila and am honoured to say, Jim Paul’s daughter in law. On February 1st, 2023, our favourite DJ, friend, chef, grandpa (the list goes on), was informed he has a large tumour located in his brain. Further testing had shown it is benign but Jim will need an operation to remove part of it before it starts to impact his quality of life. Jim is scheduled for his operation on March 29th, 2023 at the Kelowna General Hospital. For those who know Jim, and have had a chance to see him play at the Fernie Hotel, Teck Christmas parties, weddings or school dances, know how much pride and love he has for his work, and he hopes to continue working once he is healed up. At this time, he will not be able to work, and with the recent inflation, cost of travel and frequent appointments Jim will be going to in Kelowna, we are hoping to support with fundraising to help offset the cost.
