Jim Owens Skydive Honoring Neil Bynum

Longtime Nowata and Vian educator Jimmy Owens is doing a tandem skydive jump on his 80th birthday on August 18th.   All money raised will be used to build a monument to Mr. Owens high school classmate Neil Stanley Bynum who lost his life during the Vietnam war.    Students and friends of the two heroes are encouraged to donate and to attend the jump at 9:00am on August 18th at the Skiatook Airport. Contributions to this effort are not tax deductible as charitable donations.
