The decision to start this campaign and put it out there has been hard and humbling.
Jim has been diagnosed with progressive MS, COPD, and Emphasema. This week we recieved news that there's a mass within his kidney, we are getting tests to find out what we are dealing with there.
Jim has been working when he can and he's on FMLA right now. I was a product of downsizing in January and I am still seeking employment.
Jim can also no longer keep up with the maintenance of our home nor be "Mr. Fix It" as he always was when needed. We also have to have some remodeling done to accommodate the increase in disability that is unfortunately inevitable.
Between our significantly diminished income, out of pocket on tests, meds, treatments, and our home and family obligations we felt the need to ask for help.
If you can and so choose, we appreciate any help you can provide. Also you can share this with others, that will help us as well.
Again it is not easy to ask for help or make all our issues semi public , however we are finding it nessacary.
