Jim Magnuson's House Fire Relief
Donation protected
Friends and Family, On Sunday March 22nd, 2020 in Northeast Minneapolis a fire on Central Ave started in the building next to my father’s building, which as of now we are still unsure of the cause. My father (Jim Magnuson) lost his home to the unexpected fire in Northeast Minneapolis. Amazingly he escaped unharmed but the Minneapolis firefighters wouldn’t let him go get anything from his place when they started pounding on the door. My father lost his place as well as all his possessions were destroyed. The building can’t be salvaged and now he needs to rebuild his whole life. Unfortunately, he no longer had renter’s insurance to help with any of the recover from his loss.
I’m reaching out to the community to ask for help in any way possible. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. I just hoping this can help get my father back on his feet. Also, I ask that you please keep my father, Jim, in your continued prayers during this extremely difficult time. We are thankful for the fire department, police officers, EMS who worked to put out this fire. But it was truly a horrific thing just to watch unfold before my eyes, a very surreal feeling. My father can’t be replaced, but the items he owned can.
Hug your loved ones a little tighter and let them know how much you love them. Thank you!!
