Hello!

On September 1, 2021, our lives were changed forever when we heard of the devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 Kidney Cancer for Jim. The prognosis at the beginning was very poor and we are so happy that Jim has outlasted the doctor's original prognosis of 9-12 months to live. Except for a few bumps and hospital visits, he has been plugging along with the immunotherapy treatments and chemo drugs. Jim's dream is to visit Ireland before he is no longer able to travel. The doctors have approved the trip! We have a wonderful friend who has offered us their home to stay in while we visit, but the airfare, car rental, and food for the trip are pretty pricy. Because Jim has been on disability for about a year, we live by a pretty strict budget. If you feel inclined to help Jim achieve this dream, we would be so grateful. We have tried "make a wish" type organizations, but they do not grant international trips. Thank you for the many blessings!!
