In honor of Jim's distinguished career in aviation as "The Prop Doc" and his love for the people within its community, the family is establishing a scholarship at Baker’s School of Aeronautics to support deserving students pursuing technical aviation training.

Baker's School of Aeronautics, located just east of Nashville, Tennessee, has a long history of preparing aviation maintenance technicians for FAA written, oral, and practical exams through hands-on, industry-focused training. Their programs equip students with the skills needed to enter one of the most vital fields of aviation safety and operations.

This scholarship is intended to help cover tuition, fees, and approved educational expenses for students enrolling in qualifying coursework such as A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) mechanics certification or related FAA exam preparation courses.

Recognizing that every path in aviation begins with opportunity and support, we invite you to honor Jim's passion by contributing to this legacy of aviation professionals.

Thank you,

Jim's Family
