Jim & Janet Brown Need A Blessing
Donation protected
On August 17, 2016 Jim was diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer. The doctors advised him and his wife, Janet they could only attempt to extend his life with chemotherapy and radiation, but the treatments would only extend his life at best one year.
Shortly before Jim found out he was ill he had taken a position at a new job. As an over the road truck driver and being hired so recently he had no disability benefits or life insurance. Because of the treatments his body was unable to fight off pnenmonia and as a result he has been hospitalized for over two weeks. Jim also has other life threatening situations happening at this time. His left arm and shoulder are swollen with blood clots and he is having severe difficulty with his kidneys.
Janet, a 911 dispatcher for the Sheriff's Office, has stayed by his side during all of the doctor's appointments and hospital stays. As result she has used all of her vacation and sick time from work. With Jim being hospitalized with pneumonia they are currently recieving no disability benefits, social security benefits or paychecks from either employer.
Through it all, neither of them have ever asked for anything, other than Prayer. However, Jim and Janet are currently facing a mountain of debt from medical expenses, prepayments on funeral expenses and the expenses of everyday living costs.
These are two of the kindest, most humble people you will ever be blessed to call a friend and they truly need a blessing from you.
Our goal of $10,000 honestly will not cover even a portion of the bills that are the size of a mountain. But hopefully it will give this beautiful couple just a little relief in being able to pay their day to day bills, cost of medicine and help cover some of the funeral expenses.
If you have ever been blessed by others during your time of need, please pay those blessings forward to Jim and Janet.
