Jim Hinman

My brother,  Jim Hinman of Miles City, MT was diagnosed with a fast growing neck cancer a few weeks ago. He was ambulanced to Billings, MT and has been in there for most of the month of November.  It has been a roller coaster of bad news and good news.  His daughter, Buck has been by his side through the entire time.  We are reaching out for help with the escalating prescription, doctor bills. Along with Jim's household bills.  Jim has had chemotherapy but his body is now having trouble tolerating it. We found out that he has DPD deficiency a rare condition that makes it hard for his body to get rid of the chemo making it turn more toxic.  We continue to hope and pray that he will pull through. Buck has been paying some bills and for all his prescriptions out of her own pocket. Jim owns 3 businesses that he runs himself and is the only one working for them. Meaning he's not making any money right now. Medicare, Medicaid, and social security are just taking longer then we expected. Jim has been forced to relocate with his dog to Buck's house in Billings for the remainder of his treatments. Even though asking for help isn't what he would normally do... He needs a little extra help.  It is not easy to reach out at this time but hoping that we can relieve some of the financial stress to focus on his recovery.
