Jim Hickenbottom Memorial Expenses

As many of you know, our father, James Dean Hickenbottom, passed away suddenly on May 24, 2018.

Many have come to me and expressed an interest in providing financial assistance with the cost of his final arrangements, and while we, Jim's children, are doing our best to cover his expenses ourselves, we've had to concede that some help is going to be necessary. A GoFundMe was suggested to me by our aunt Viki.

I've set an arbitrary goal amount because we simply do not know how much we will need. If you can help, then know it is greatly appreciated. If you cannot, we say thank you, anyway.

We have covered the cost of Dad's cremation in full, already. So any donations received at this point will be put toward his memorial expenses (county permits, catering, etc.), and any remaining amount will be divided among his four children (Isaac, Ashley, Jeremiah, and Jenna) as they choose, to facilitate the payment of any possible final bills which may arise, as well as to assist with any expenses incurred in seeing to the dispersal/care of Dad's ashes.

Right now, we have a great big party to plan in his honor, and every little bit helps.

Thank you all for your love, your support, and your kind words as we all struggle to cope with the sudden loss of such a powerful influence in our lives. Dad was a force all his own, stubborn to the end, insisting he die doing what he loved.

The only thing he loved more was all of us. Let's send him off proud.
