Hi, my name is Jamey Davis and on behalf of Jim Hereford (really the entire Hereford Family), we are raising funds to help with their medical bills, which have grown to levels that no family should ever have to take on alone. Despite having great insurance, the patient's responsibility is still overwhelming.

As most of you know, Jim and his wife, Michelle (always by his side), have been in and out of the hospital since January. More days have been spent by them in a hospital bed than they have spent in their own bed and with their family. During these long hospital stays, Jim has been receiving treatments that include chemo, stem cell transplant, and numerous bone marrows, among many more procedures in his battle to beat Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia. Unfortunately, the fight is far from over and more treatments are needed over the next several months. The Herefords are doing their part to beat this disease (and Jim will beat this) and you have the opportunity to help with this endeavor. We would kindly ask all his friends and family who have the financial means to contribute funds, to please do so. It will help lessen the stress on their family and aid in this fight. The funds will be used to support the family and pay for medical bills.
